Guides
Task-oriented walkthroughs for the things people actually do with public Reddit data.
Each guide is built around a job rather than a command: reading listings and posts, walking a comment tree, looking up profiles and searching, pulling community metadata, crawling in bulk into a local store, and shaping the output. They assume you have run the quick start.
Listings and posts
Walk a subreddit by any sort, page through it, and fetch individual posts by id or URL.
Comment trees
Flatten a post's discussion into records, sort it, cap its depth, and follow the collapsed load-more stubs.
Profiles and search
Look up users and subreddits, list a user's posts and comments, search posts, and discover communities and people.
Community metadata
Pull a subreddit's rules, moderators, and wiki pages, and the other discussions of a link.
Bulk crawling
Seed post URLs from listings, queue them, crawl into a local SQLite store, and export the records.
Output formats
Render records as a table, JSON, CSV, or your own template, and script against the exit codes.
